The session was attended by around 30 people. Following is the definition of a good leader according to them:
- People can follow willfully
- Enables more leaders
- Can mobilize people to confirm to a common objective
- Takes initiative
- Acts as a coach and guide
- Takes right decisions at the right time
- Creates an environment conducive for highest productivity
- Aligns individual and team goals
- Motivates the team
- Gets the team buy-in
- Understands the need of the team members
- Does not let stress trickle down to the team
- Respects and acknowldes individual contribution
- Resolves conflicts at the right time and in a timely fashion
- Takes charge
- Works in a team
- Bridges gap between organization goals and implementation
- Guides the whole team towards the final goal
- Shapes teams success and takes ownership of failure
- Leads by action
- Does not need to prove that he is a leader
- Can define the future of the team

I guess GOD as we know him/her or if we believe in him/her is a poor leader according to these criteria.
